Express, The

Situated on Mill Street, towards the junction with Nantwich Road, The Express has the usual pub games, varied beers and bottles and regular entertainment. The pub is now one of the town's leading live music venues (regular Crewe Gig Guide updates HERE), with acts on stage across most weekends. One of the friendliest management couples in town...

The Express is a great old fashioned pub full of friendly people, reasonable priced drinks and a great atmosphere.
Don;t go here expecting a poncy wine bar but if you're happy with a pint and good company, then you'll love it

It is what it is, but trade all round is down. Still worthy of a visit, & probably the best/experienced licensees in the whole town.

mick used to run this place and shirley. me and missus dozer often (prior to refurb in 2000?) used to get in about 9 30 after a good feed at giovannis and play the juke box all night . after re-furb not as cozy but such is life

Mick and Shirl are most certainly the most friendly and long served publicans in the town. We need more pubs/ licensees like this
